Peru's Navy ship BAP Union moors in Lisbon

As part of its second overseas instruction trip, Inca country's Navy training ship BAP Union moored at Lisbon port on August 29.

Peru's Ambassador to Portugal Maritza Puertas de Rodriguez, Naval Attaché based in Spain Captain Aldo Vasquez, Embassy officials and hosting nation's authorities came together in the harbor city to welcome the vessel.

Locals and Peruvian expats residing in the European country joined the ceremony as well.

Upon arrival, the Portuguese Republic Navy Band played both countries' national anthems and traditional songs.
 
It must be noted the Peruvian vessel's second journey includes stops at 15 ports in 10 countries around the world. 

BAP Union previously sailed in British, German and French waters.
