Presidents Pedro Pablo Kuczynski and Mariano Rajoy were seen going for a walk through Moncloa Palace gardens in Madrid in the course of a working meeting to boost bilateral relations between Peru and Spain.

The two Heads of State attended a working breakfast meeting at the Spanish leader's official residence.

Also, Mr. Rajoy said he wants to deepen ties with the Inca nation in a welcome message via Twitter.

Declared a Site of Cultural Interest, Moncloa Palace gardens are part of Spain's national heritage. Its botanical distribution and cultivated field date back to King Charles III era.

During his visit — the first since taking office in July 2016— Kuczynski will seek to strengthen bilateral ties, find new ways of cooperation and promote investments in Peru.
