Renowned Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Florez has recently arrived in Lima, within the framework of his coming concert to collect funds for natural disaster victims.

As is known, the Inca nation was at the mercy of "Coastal El Niño" phenomenon in the January-March period. The event was characterized by heavy rains, landslides and floods, which left thousands of citizens homeless.

Via social media, the artist announced the gig will feature Eva Ayllon, a famous national Creole music singer.

Yesterday, Florez posted on Facebook a picture of himself in Lima's seashore area.

The fundraising concert will be held at Lima's National Stadium on July 1st.

On that night, the artist will take the stage along with other Peruvian musicians to perform songs and dances from all over the country.

The event will also include a special appearance by children and youth from Symphony for Peru's orchestra and choir.

Ticket prices range between S/33 (about US$10.08) and S/315 (about US$96.30).

The money raised will be given to Peru's State-run National Civil Defense Institute (Indeci).
