Lima, Oct. 27.
The Kuczynski administration's goal is to provide full coverage in terms of water, sanitation and electricity 24/7, Peruvian Prime Minister Mercedes Araoz said on Thursday.

"We want to reach 100% of cities with water and sanitation coverage; that is, full coverage seven days a week and 24 hours a day, plus 85% of the whole rural area," Araoz expressed.

The also Second Vice-President added this is a major public investment effort, on which the government will continue to work.

"We want to make progress on rural electrification projects, in order to reach a total coverage in the country by 2021," she reaffirmed in this sense.

According to the high-ranking official, this task requires daily hard work.

"Likewise, it is important that businessmen support this objective by making good environmental and social investments and by also complying with taxes," she concluded.

Additionally, Araoz emphasized Peru is open to private investment in infrastructure, hydrocarbons and mining projects.
