Lima, Mar. 11 (ANDINA).- The credit rating agency Standard & Poor's forecasts that Peru's GDP growth will reach 5.5 percent in 2010-2011, while inflation would average one and 2.5 percent, respectively.

Trujillo authorities aim to increase visits to local archeaological site

Peru sends additional medical aid, doctors to Chile

Santiago, Mar. 11 (ANDINA).- The Peruvian Government has sent half a ton of additional medical supplies to Chile, which was struck by an 8.8-magnitude earthquake on February 27.


President Garcia confident of Chile’s reconstruction capacity

Valparaiso, Mar. 11 (ANDINA).- Peru’s President Alan García today expressed confidence in Chile’s capacity to undertake reconstruction upon his arrival at Piñera’s inauguration held at the seat of Congress in Valparaiso, 75 miles west of Santiago.
