Peru's 2017 economic growth expectations —among analysts and financial agents— climbed to 2.6%, the country's Central Reserve Bank (BCR) informed on Sunday.
According to BCR's latest
survey on Macroeconomic Expectations, analysts' projections increased from 2.5% (April survey) to 2.6% (May).
On the other hand, non-financial enterprises forecast national GDP will expand
3% this year.
According to the IMF, Peru's GDP will increase
2.7% in 2017.
2018
Economic analysts and financial agents estimated Peruvian economy will grow 3.6% in 2018, whereas non-financial companies' projections stand at 3.9%.
2019
The three aforementioned groups projected Peru's economic activity will rise 4% in 2019.
May's survey polled 27 economic analysts, 22 financial firms and 346 enterprises from various sectors.
