Several fire departments around the world are organizing contributions to upgrade national fire brigade's logistics, Peruvian President Pedro Pedro Pablo Kuczynski's wife Nancy Lange informed on Friday.

Speaking from the scene of a devastating blaze in Lima's Cercado district —where she joined the President— Mrs. Lange said countries like Spain, France and the United States have expressed their interest in helping the Inca nation.

Similarly, Mr. Kuczynski referred to the coming arrival of firefighting equipment from France and the U.S. to this end.

On the other hand, U.S.-born Lange also announced the delivery of water and food supplies to the brave firefighters who have been tirelessly working —for over 24 hours— to control the massive fire.

As is known, Mrs. Lange comes from a family of firefighters. Her father, uncles and cousins served the Fire Department in the United States.
