Village People excited to perform in Peru

Bill Whitefield, member of U.S. disco band Village People, said the group is enthusiastic about its upcoming visit to Peru.

As is known, the musicians will give two concerts in Lima on June 9 and 10.

Within the framework of their 2017 world tour, the Americans will arrive in the Andean country to present their show titled "Can't Stop The Music Party."

"We are very excited to be coming to Lima, Peru, [it is] a beautiful country [...], we love the people, we love the culture and we love the food, so we're very, very excited to be coming," the band's Construction Worker said.

"We can't wait to get there," he added. 

Likewise, Whitefield underlined the group's performance in the Inca country will be "full of energy and music," adding it will be "a dance party."

Said tour also comprises stops in the United States, Canada, Australia and European countries. 

Among the band's best-selling singles, "YMCA," "In The Navy," "Macho Man" and "Go West" stand out.

Village People is also composed of Felipe Rose (Native American), Ray Simpson (Cop), Alex Briley (Soldier), Eric Anzalone (Biker) and Jim Newman (Cowboy).
