Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski received on Friday diplomatic credentials from new Ambassadors of Iceland, New Zealand and Brunei Darussalam.

The newly-appointed Ambassador of Iceland Sturla Sigurjonsson presented his credentials this morning at the Lima-based Government Palace.

The ceremony took place at the Palace Golden Hall in the presence of Peru’s Foreign Affairs Minister Ricardo Luna.

Later, the recently appointed New Zealand envoy Emma Caine did same, handing over her letters of credence to Peru's top official.

Afterwards, President Kuczynski received credential letters from Brunei Darussalam’s Ambassador Dato Serbini.

All of the above are Non-Resident Ambassadors because their countries do not have consular offices in the Andean nation.

Following protocol ceremonies, the Head of State held private audiences with each of the Ambassadors.

Once the event concluded, officials posed for the official photo and Mr. Kuczynski wished them well in their positions.
