Alfredo Torres, president of the polling company, said Humala's administration obtained a majority of 75 percent, while 25 percent disapproved the work done in his first year and a half in office.

The head of state has significantly increased his approval rate, as the one obtained at the Cade 2011 was 63 percent, against a 37 percent disapproval rate.

The poll also revealed that 89 percent believed that the country continues progressing, despite the global economic downturn; 11 percent said the economic situation remains the same, while no one believed the country is stagnant.

The Cade, which ended Sunday, gathered Peruvian leading entrepreneurs, company executives and opinion leaders, who were able to share experiences and discuss new approaches and strategies for the country's development.
