Pope Francis on Friday afternoon arrived at Apaktone Pastoral Center —2.5 km away from Puerto Maldonado city— to have lunch with indigenous peoples' representatives.

This was the last activity of the Supreme Pontiff's intense visit to the abovementioned city, where he arrived this morning

In his first event of the day, Francis met with indigenous peoples' representatives at Madre de Dios Coliseum.

Afterwards, he held an audience with Puerto Maldonado locals at the Esplanade of Jorge Basadre Institute.

He also visited El Principito children's shelter, where he was welcomed by a group of children and youths.

Later, he took a Latam aircraft on route to Lima, where he will meet with President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski.
