Pope Francis on Saturday reiterated the theme for his visit to Peru is "United by Hope," saying he has hope in the hearts of many people who seek a blessed life.
Via Twitter, the Supreme Pontiff shared a new reflection during his stay in Peru.
"The theme for my visit to Peru is 'United by Hope.' I have hope in you, in the hearts of many people who seek a blessed life," his post reads.
The Holy Father is paying a visit to Trujillo, one of the most affected cities after the rains and floods caused by
Coastal El Niño phenomenon last year.
Said weather event was characterized by heavy rains, landslides, and floods, which destroyed infrastructure and crops, leaving many citizens homeless.
