Peruvian Ambassador Francisco Javier Rivarola Rubio presented credential letters to Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Andean country's Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.
Such credentials recognized the appointment of Rivarola as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the State of Kuwait.
After extending President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski's greeting to the Emir, the diplomat highlighted the Peruvian Government's willingness to boost bilateral relations.
Within this framework, both personalities agreed to strengthen friendship and cooperation ties, as well as promote investment and trade in both nations.
