The Peruvian Junior volleyball team will face Cuba in the framework of the 7th edition of the Women's U20 Copa Latina Tournament to be held at Lima's Eduardo Dibos Coliseum at 6:00 P.M. (local time).
Angela Leyva, the team captain, affirmed the squad arrives in good condition for this international tournament.
Facing Thailand and Cuba at previous matches, allowed the team to increase their game quality, Leyva said.
"The team is going well. Three of us have already played for the senior and junior teams and we have increased our learning. We trust in reaching gold medals, and we expect people to support us from the beginning," she declared.
The squad, coached by Natalia Malaga, has been empowered by two new members, Leslie Leyva and Diana de la Peña, who are also members of the juniors squad.
