10:08 | Madrid (Spain), Oct. 19.

Following the London (UK) seminar on Peruvian economic expansion, the Europe Investment RoadShow 2016 ends today in Madrid (Spain).

Organized by inPERU, the event aims to draw more foreign investors in various public and private investment projects in the Inca nation.

The national delegation is composed of Peru's Central Reserve Bank (BCR) Governor Julio Velarde, Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Eduardo Ferreyros, Investing in Peru Association (inPERU) Chairman Francis Stenning, as well as Peruvian guild leaders and entrepreneurs.

On Wednesday morning, the national delegation joined Spanish investors from different sectors in a business breakfast organized by leading communication consultancy firm Llorente & Cuenca.

Peruvian Ambassador to Spain Jose Antonio Garcia Belaunde also took part in the said gathering.

Late morning and afternoon activities included the seminar “Peru: Leading Growth Across the Region,” as well as the business panel “Opportunities and outlooks Peru – Spain.”

Both fora include talks by national delegation representatives and Spanish entrepreneurs.

Investing in Peru Association (inPERU) Chairman Francis Stenning on Tuesday pointed out the scenario is ideal to attract more foreign investors in light of the positive expectations towards President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski's different measures.

"We also believe all participants agree that this is a great time to visit this financial market, since Peru currently undergoes a political transition with major expectations and solid foundations,” he told Andina news agency.
