Peru's economy to continue expanding, assures Kuczynski

Peru's next administration will be focused on ensuring national economic growth and investment expansion across the country, President-Elect Pedro Pablo Kuczynski assured on Thursday.

The former Economy minister affirmed his regime will be characterized for promoting private investments, despite the unfavorable economic environment currently hitting the region. 

Mr. Kuczynski also confirmed his first Presidential trip will likely take him to China, the world's largest economy. 

Remarks were made during the 3rd Business Summit of the Pacific Alliance held in Chile's Los Lagos region. 

The ex-World Bank Officer will take office on July 28th, 2016.
