Lima's Contemporary Art Museum to open its doors on January 23rd.

10:54 | Lima, Jan. 20 (ANDINA).

The Contemporary Art Museum of Lima (LiMAC) will be inaugurated on January 23rd with the presence of talented young artists' local production and the exhibition of part of the Contemporary Art Institute’s collection.
Alvaro Roca Rey, LiMAC Director, stated the new architectural infrastructure is just “the tip of the iceberg” of what this space will contribute for Peru’s culture and its population.

Indeed, he pointed out that three large spaces have been devoted to house the exhibits that will be showcased.

Thus, one of the spaces will be aimed at the collection of the Lima’s Institute of Contemporary Art which has not been seen in three decades and from now will be updated every three months.

Another room will be devoted to four samples cured by four different specialists with wide different visions on Lima’s art.
