16:20 | Trujillo (La Libertad region), Oct. 20.

Presidents Pedro Pablo Kuczynski (Peru) and Lenin Moreno (Ecuador), along with their corresponding ministerial teams, posed for the 11th Peru-Ecuador Binational Cabinet's official photo.

The picture was taken at Trujillo-based Costa del Sol Hotel following ministerial meetings earlier today.

At a previous private audience, both Heads of State looked over the achievements in bilateral relations and prepared to make new commitments.

This year's Binational Cabinet edition covers five main thematic axes: (i) Social and Cultural Affairs; (ii) Production and Trade; (iii) Energy, Mining and Environmental Issues; (iv) Infrastructure and Connectivity; as well as (v) Security and Defense.

It must be noted Binational Cabinets constitute a mechanism for political dialogue between two nations with the purpose of working on specific issues of common concern included in the bilateral agenda.
