Athlete Camila Valle and the duo formed by Eduardo Linares and Álvaro Torres won Saturday two new gold medals for the Peruvian team competing in the Bolivarian Beach Games 2012. This way, Peru reached Venezuela in the first place of the medal.
Valle won the gold in rowing mode short light with a time of 1:37.42, followed by Ecuadorian Cristina Heredia (1:42.48) and the Salvadoran Jocelyn Alabi (1:48.09).

Meanwhile, Linares and Torres competed in rowing mode two pair short and ended their game with a time of 1:19.99, achieving the gold medal with a narrow victory.

Colombian David Ponguta and Andrés Mejía finished in the second with 1:20.43 and bronze went to El Salvador with time of 1:20.91 achieved by Gerson Hernández and Roberto López.

Peru leads with Venezuela in the overall medal table with 16 gold medals and eight silver for each team. But the first one has ten bronze medals, two more than the Venezuelan delegation, so it is currently the only leader of the first Boliviarian Beach Games.
