The Peruvian soccer team climbed two positions in the latest FIFA rakings and now holds the 52th position with 565 points.

If compared to other CONMEBOL (South American Football Confederation) belonging federations, the team would rank seventh (out of 10), followed by Paraguay, Bolivia and Venezuela.

The ranking would be led by Argentina (1st place), Colombia (2nd place) and Brazil (3rd place).

Pablo Bengoechea's team has five victories and four loses. Peru won friendly matches against Panama, Iraq, Qatar, Guatemala and Paraguay. However, it has been defeated by Switzerland, England, Paraguay and Chile.
Lately, fans have not been very pleased with the team's performance.

On the other hand, at a world level, Spain moved up one place and now is the ninth in FIFA ranking.
It is led by Germany, followed by Argentina and Colombia.

Among the ten first places, the only changes are the progress of Spain, which climbed up from tenth to ninth position.
