Peru to conclude negotiations of four trade agreements next year

Next year, Peru will conclude negotiations of the Trans Pacific Trade Agreement (TPP) and the free-trade agreements (FTA) with Honduras, El Salvador and Thailand, reported Tuesday Peru´s Ministry of Foreign trade and Tourism (Mincetur).
In 2013 will came into force the Multipart Trade Agreement among the Europe Union, Peru and Colombia and the agreements with Costa Rica, Guatemala and Venezuela, stated the Director of Trade Facilitation of Mincetur, Fernando Ruiz.

"In that way, we will finish consolidating markets for 95 percent of our exports, which are allocated to countries with preferential access conditions," he said.

Other goals for next year include strengthening eight export chains and creating two centers of technological innovation for entrepreneurs in Lima and Cusco.

Similarly, it is expected the installation of a multi-center services in Rondonia (Brazil) aimed at distributing food and fruit shipments to the northern states of Brazil and the central west region of that country as well.
