Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski received a visit from former U.S. congressman Patrick J. Kennedy, who came to Peru to attend the global symposium “Mental Health and Substance Use: Priorities for Practice and Policy.”
The former Rhode Island Democratic Rep. Patrick Kennedy held a friendly meeting with Kuczynski, in which they addressed several issues.
Kennedy arrived at the Kuczynskis' house in San Isidro district joined by his wife Amy Savell, and they were both welcomed by the president's wife Nancy Lange.
At the end of the visit, the Peruvian leader was given a bust of former President of the United States John F. Kennedy —Patrick's uncle.
