The Peruvian National Police will on Saturday start to register Lima's San Borja district residents living in the surroundings of APEC Forum's 24th Leaders Summit venues.
The measure seeks to guarantee security before, during and after this major event taking place in Peru's capital next month.
Registration will take place on weekends from 8:00 to 20:00 at various modules across said areas.
Residents will be required to submit their National Identity Document (DNI), as well as vehicle ownership documents to PNP personnel.
Neighbors will have to collect corresponding registration cards on November 5-12. These must be carried at all times on November 14-20 (APEC Summit dates).
