Peruvian gastronomy, dances, craftworks, will be the stars at several activities to be held during the Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund, the head of the Foreign Trade and Tourism Ministry Magali Silva announced.

Thus, participants will be able to attend a series of culinary demonstrations by the country's top chefs and bartenders.

"We have built a huge food court and a craft market for attendees to the Boards of Governors [...]," she pointed out.

A special attraction will be the "flash mob," which will be performed at the said food court. It will feature a tenor. Likewise, there will be marinera, Peruvian rock, hip hop and violinists.

Delegations will be welcomed at a cocktail party at the Magic Water Tour (Lima Park of the Reserve) on October 9. The closing event will be in charge of Peru’s top tenor Juan Diego Florez and the National Symphony Orchestra.

The WBG/IMF Meetings of the Boards of Governors are held once again in South America, after 48 years and gather 12,000 participants, among them Finance Ministers and Reserve Bank Governors from 188 member countries.
