Central Reserve Bank of Peru’s Chairman Julio Velarde will participate in the Bank for International Settlements Governors' bimonthly meeting to be held in Shanghai (China) on February 28th-29th, 2016.
Chairmen of BIS' affiliated Central Banks will attend the gathering, where they will address challenges linked to monetary policy, financial perspectives and other issues of particular interest to these institutions.
Previously, Mr. Velarde will take part in the 8th Annual Institute of International Finance (IIF) G20 Conference “The G20 Agenda under the Chinese Presidency” taking place in the same city on February 25th-26th, 2016.
This forum will gather central banks' Governors, Finance Ministers, high-level officials and private sector’s leaders, who will discuss economic performance, global trade and financial markets, among other financial matters of particular relevance.
