Pinchollo geysers or hot springs in Arequipa’s Colca Valley is the new tourist route promoted by State-run Colca Valley Autonomous Authority (Autocolca) in the area, famous for its natural beauty and culture.

Caylloma Province Mayor Romulo Tinta said Colca Valley houses many tourist attractions that are being improved for domestic and foreign tourists, and the Pinchollo geysers area is one of them.

The Pinchollo geysers expel water vapor that indicates underground volcanic activity and geothermal heat process of underground waters.

Jets of water are sent up at the same time as Sabancaya Volcano eruptions. A large amount of steam is generated steadily.

Visitors seldom come to the area, but its location is amazing, as you can see Hualca Hualca Peak and the natural environment of the place in the distance.

All its features make it a potential tourist destination for those visiting Colca Valley during national holidays.
