President of the Peruvian Nationalist Party Nadine Heredia Alarcon met with the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao, with whom she discussed her experience in political party activity and the friendship relationship between Peru and the Asian giant.

At the meeting, the Chinese authority noted that despite its young age, the Peruvian Nationalist Party is an emerging force based on democratic principles and devoted to promoting economic development of Peru with social justice.

Nadine Heredia, in turn, said the government of President Ollanta Humala is working to ensure the State’s presence along the national territory and is making substantial investment in development of human capital, on the sidelines of an education reform that not only erupts in response to a nationalist government’s initiative, but is consolidated as a State policy.

She added the Nationalism’s policy implemented by the government is oriented towards productive diversification and planning.

“We ask countries investing in Peru to bring technological transfer as well. We strive for development of innovative, scientific and technological human capital in our country,” she emphasized.

Li Yuanchao expressed his agreement with the promotion of economic development and reduction of deficiencies.

Another topic discussed at the meeting was the visit Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang will pay to Peru with the aim of boosting political, economic relations and strengthening the comprehensive strategic relationship developed between the two countries during President Humala’s term in office.
