Fuerza Popular’s candidate Keiko Fujimori affirmed she will lead an active and managing administration, if elected for office.

“Five years ago, we started on this road, a true road across Peru, by visiting the most forgotten people. I will work for Peru, for all Peruvians,” Fujimori expressed.

During the first debate segment the former Congresswoman affirmed she has "the solutions the country needs" to move forward.

“I want a country free from political violence, which promotes jobs; a Peru that's capable of facing international competition,” the 40-year-old candidate added.

The former First Lady noted she would boost greater infrastructure projects in rural areas, and set the foundations for the economy to support productive sectors day by day.

Likewise, she went on to add her administration would allocate one percent of General Sales Tax for local governments to develop projects, with the purpose of boosting decentralization.

On the other hand, the Fuerza Popular candidate pledged to fight crime by supporting law enforcement "from the first day in office."

She also committed to promote small and medium-sized enterprises and to enabling labor force to join the formal sector.
