Peru's National Confederation of Private Business Institutions (Confiep) ratified its commitment to continuing making investments aimed at generating more jobs and enhancing competitiveness and productivity levels in the country.

"The national productivity will enable the country to improve employment levels and quality, with the aim of achieving economic growth with inclusion," Confiep Chairman Martin Perez expressed.

"We need to build consensus on three fundamental topics: institutionalism, infrastructure and public services, as well as fight against corruption. Such initiatives will allow us to move forward towards 2021," he pointed out.

Remarks were made during the forum "Modern State at the Service of Citizens" organized by Confiep along with Economy and Finance Ministry-run National Competitiveness Council (CNC).
