Pisco Sour lovers will be able to enjoy Peru’s flagship cocktail as part of an original walking tour through the capital city, Lima, on the sidelines of the Pisco Sour Day celebrations.
The journey is organized by the Lima Municipal Tourist Office and will include stops at Maury hotel, Jiron de la Union street, San Martin square, Bolivar hotel and Queirolo tavern.
To join this free-of-charge tour, participants must register in advance, since capacity is limited. Those interested should send an e-mail to infoturistica@munlima.gob.pe, including their full name, ID number and district of residence.
The starting point is on Chabuca Granda boulevard, where a Pisco Sour Fair will take place on February 6-8 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
Pisco producers from different parts of the country will showcase their products in a bid to promote the drink’s consumption.
Fairgoers will also have the chance to taste Peruvian dishes and a wide variety of traditional desserts including, among others, ranfañote, mazamorra de cochino, cocadas and melcochas.
