Three missing Peruvians found after Mexico quake

Peru's Consul General in Mexico Gloria del Carmen Olivares informed three out of 11 missing Peruvians were found safe in Mexico, after the deadly earthquake that struck last Tuesday.

Their names are: Felipa Gamarra Moscoso, Karen Tenorio Nieto and Erminia Miriam Montoya Vargas. 

Thus, eight compatriots remain unaccounted for after the 7.1-magnitude earthquake that has claimed over 200 lives.


"A detailed list will be published in the course of the day," Del Carmen pointed out.

Likewise, she expressed hope of finding the remaining missing people as soon as possible.

It must be noted no Peruvian nationals have been so far identified among the quake's victims.
