The two previous editions, held in the Sheraton Hotel, located in Lima downtown, gathered 5,000 and 12,000 visitors, according to the National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida).
The four-day event, to be held in casa Prado, located in the Limean district of Miraflores, has become a celebration for the Peruvian cocoa and chocolate industry, offering tastings, exhibitions, and other attractions for the general public.
It will gather producing or exporting cocoa or chocolate organizations, national companies specializing in fine chocolate, industrial cocoa and chocolate, and other institutions related to the economic chain of cocoa.
In addition, organizers have confirmed thwe attendance of chocolate masters from Peru and from the United States, European Union, the Andean Community, among others.
