Team Peru obtained a bronze medal at Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games, thanks to Mario Cuba and Katherine Winder who participated in the badminton's mixed doubles category.
In the semifinals, Americans Philip Chew and Jamie Subandhi defeated Peru by a 2-0 score (21-18 and 21-14). Thus, the nationals claimed bronze.
It should be noted that Cuba and Winder had already assured the said medal after beating Jamaicans Dayvon Reid and Ruth Williams.
To date, Peru has claimed four medals. One gold, one silver and two bronze.
