Sleiman to head Arab delegation at Peru summit

President Michel Sleiman headed to Peru Sunday to head the Arab delegation in the Summit of South American-Arab Countries.
The summit, a gathering to promote cooperation and political coordination, will kick off Tuesday in Lima.

Sleiman is also scheduled to visit Argentina and Paraguay where he is expected to meet with several government officials and Lebanese expatriates, reported Lebanon's Daily Star website.

The Lebanese delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister Samir Moqbel, Foreign Affairs Minister Adnan Mansour, Minister of displaced Alaaeddine Terro, Telecommunications Minister Nicolas Sehnaoui as wel as former Interior Minister Ziyad Baroud.

Sleiman will deliver a speech at the Peru summit.
