President Humala to welcome China's Premier in Lima

On Friday the President of the Republic of Peru Ollanta Humala will welcome the current Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Li Keqiang, at the Peruvian Government Palace, where both leaders will hold an official meeting.

Chinese Premier will arrive in Lima (Peru) to pay an official visit (May 22-24) upon the invitation made by Mr. Humala.

The official meeting has been scheduled to take place at 4.15 P.M. At the gathering, bilateral agreements are to be signed. Afterwards, the leaders will address the press.

Later on, at 8.00 P.M. Li Keqiang and his wife, Mrs. Cheng Hong, will participate in an official dinner offered in his honor by the Peruvian Head of State to be held at the Government Palace's dining room.

On Saturday 23, Mr. Keqiang will hold a gathering with Chinese entrepreneurs living in Peru. This will take place at the Lima Swissôtel facilities at 10.00 A.M. 

Afterwards, at 11.00 A.M. the Chinese Prime Minister will visit the National Museum of Archaeology, Anthropology and History, located in Lima Metropolitan Area's Pueblo Libre district. Peru's Prime Minister, Pedro Cateriano, will visit the facilities at the same time.

According to information provided by Peru's Foreign Relations Ministry, the Chinese Premier will join a symposium about Chinese and Latin American civilizations.

At 4.00 P.M., he is expected to visit the Pachacamac Archaeological Complex located in Lurin district.

Later on, Mr. Keqiang will also meet with Chinese diplomats, as well as entrepreneurs, members of the Chinese community and students.

On Sunday 24, during the morning, the Premier is will head to Chile.
