Peruvian President Ollanta Humala met with U.S. actor Sean Penn, who headed to Lima, capital of Peru, to attend the 2015 Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the IMF and the World Bank Group.

Penn, Oscar winner for his leading roles in Mystic River and Milk, called the youth to break paradigms and take responsibility for the planet during the event “Young Entrepreneurs as Drivers of Sustainable Growth,” held at the Lima-based National Museum.

During his participation, along with World Bank Group (WBG) President Jim Yong Kim, among other speakers, he said working in Haiti was a moment of great discovery, as it resulted in a wide network of countries willing to assist a population that is almost unable to move forward.

He noted Haiti hosts many stories on young entrepreneurs who are hungry for knowledge and for making their dreams come true.

In this sense, he considered opportunities the best help that can be provided to the nation.

Penn is the founder of J/P Haitian Relief Organization, which builds sustainable programs for the benefit of low-income people in Haiti.

Photographers and camerapersons were paying attention to his participation.

WBG Chairman stressed the great humanitarian work undertaken by the famous actor.
