Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid, representative of King Philip of Belgium, today will meet with Peruvian President Ollanta Humala as part of her official visit to the Republic of Peru.
The Princess will be received with high honors of state in a official welcome ceremony scheduled for 12:00 local time (17:00 GMT) at the presidential palace in Lima, Peru.
Afterwards, high-level delegations of the two countries will get together for an extended meeting.
On the sideline of the royal visit to the Andean nation, both state dignitaries will sign agreements designed to enhance education and grant scholarships to qualified Peruvian students.
