Local surfer Miluska Tello (PER) became the 2015 Rip Curl Pro Junior Series champion after taking down Lorena Fica (CHI) 15.84 to 10.00 on San Bartolo beach in Lima, Peru.
The talented Inca warrior was up to scratch, when compared with competitive international surfers, and thus managed to win the fourth date of the Women’s Championship Tour 2015 of World Surf League (WSL).
The Peruvian caught five waves at the end and received scores of 7.17 and 8.67 on her two best waves, while Fica only could add 4.27 and 5.73.
In the men’s division, Peru’s Juninho Urcia, representative of Huanchaco Beach in Trujillo, finished second on the podium in the fifth date of the Men’s Tour.
Urcia reached 12.34 points against Brazil’s Deivid Silva, who totaled 14.00.
