Peruvian First Lady Nancy Lange visited a fire station in the Chinese capital, where she observed the work carried out by Chinese firefighters to contain fire, prevent disasters and tackle emergencies.
Lange paid attention to the different life-saving rescue drills and was informed of the technology resources used to complete such tasks.
She expressed willingness to help Peruvian firefighters as she is identified with the tasks, because her father and relatives performed such laudable actions for years.
China has one of the most efficient disaster and emergency prevention systems in the world to tackle floods, landslides, earthquake, accidents and fires. Firefighters play a key role in this system.
Mr. Kuczynski’s wife is scheduled to visit a local school today and she will then attend the exhibit “Memory of Peru: 1890-1950” held at the Beijing-based library.
