Three bronze medals were claimed by the Peruvian student delegation, which participated in the 47th International Chemistry Olympiad Baku Azerbaijan 2015 held last July.
290 representatives from 75 countries took part in the competition hosted by Lomonosov Moscow State University.
The national delegation was composed of Johan Alexander Farfán Benito, Erick Renato Cirilo Mel, Robert Erick Ñanez Azaña and Josué Alexander Urcia Aguilar. The first three obtained bronze.
Youngsters were trained by Pontifical Catholic University of Peru teachers before taking part in the tournament.
The group of scholars will travel to the upcoming Iberoamerican Chemistry Olympiad to take place in Brazil next September.
