The Peruvian General Consulate in Turin recently supported "Turin Finds Peru: A Journey Across Food Geographies," a cooperation activity to foster cultural exchange focused on culinary diversity between the Inca country and Italy.

Participating Peruvian restaurants and AGAPE offered a wide array of dishes, including traditional Peruvian recipes prepared with emblematic Piamonte produce.

In this sense, the initiative served to promote the Andean nation's gastronomy in the European country while fostering cooperation between Peruvian restaurants based in Turin and local agricultural companies.

The event also featured a dialogue space on new dietary styles and coexistence for public and private sector institutions to exchange views geared towards horizontal cooperation.

The event was co-organized by Peru-Italy Gastronomic Association (AGAPE), the Latin American Center for Rural Development (RIMISP) and producers' association Coldiretti Torino.
