Peruvian President receives credentials of four foreign envoys

Peruvian President Ollanta Humala Tasso received on Friday the letters of credence presented by three newly-appointed ambassadors to the Andean nation.

Israeli Ambassador, Ehud Moshe Eitan was the first to present his credentials to the Peruvian leader in a brief ceremony at the Government's palace in the nation's capital Lima. The ceremony was followed by a private meeting.

Following this meeting, President Humala, who was accompanied by the country's Deputy Foreign Minister, Claudio de la Puente, received the credentials from Japanese ambassador Tatsuya Kabutan and held a private meeting with the diplomat from the Asian country.

Likewise, Humala received credentials from new ambassadors of Bolivia, Gustavo Rodriguez and the United Kindgom and North Ireland, Anwar Choudhury, with whom he also held separate meetings.
