Peruvian President Ollanta Humala and his wife Nadine Heredia met over the weekend with the lead singer of the Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger.

The meeting took place in the Government Palace and was also attended by Peru's Minister for Foreign Trade and Tourism, Jose Luis Silva.

On Sunday afternoon, Jagger had lunch at the restaurant of the Rafael Larco Herrera Archaeological Museum and then went to the Jorge Chavez International Airport to board a flight to Cusco and Puerto Maldonado.

While in Lima, he reportedly visited the English bar at San Isidro's Country Club on Friday night.
