The Andean Community passport, (common, special, diplomatic passport and letter of safe-conduct) issued in Peru, is considered the most secure of Latin America and the Caribbean.

Due to its quality and high security levels, it becomes a document hard to counterfeit.

The Latin American Confederation of the Graphic Industrials (CONLATINGRAF) made this recognition and awarded the "Gráfica de Oro 2014" (Graphic of Gold 2014) to the enterprise Thomas Greg & Sons del Perú.

The company produces Peruvian passports.

There are over 50 security and control measures, which led the document held by Peruvians to pass the quality standards required by the International Civil Aviation Organization.

This is the third time the passport is recognized with this award. The first two came in 2009 and 2013.

The Latin American Confederation of the Graphic Industry is composed of federations, chambers and associations of the graphic industry sector from 15 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.
