Peruvian government, business officials launch inPeru's New York road show

Peruvian government officials and top executives will highlight the economic developments and investment opportunities in the Andean country during the 6th inPeru Road Show to be held on March 6-7 in New York, United States.

Early on Thursday, representatives from inPERU -a non-profit Peruvian association which represents all major institutions related to the Peruvian financial markets- will ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange to highlight Peru as an emerging country and potential source of investment. 

Julio Velarde, the Governor of the Peruvian Central Bank; Jose Antonio Blanco, the Chairman of inPeru; Christian Laub, the Vice Chairman of inPeru and Chairman of the Lima Stock Exchange; as well as top executives from the corporate sector will join in the bell ringing.

Following the bell ringing ceremony, inPeru will host a media roundtable discussion at NYSE, with the participation of Luis Miguel Castilla, Peruvian Minister of Economy and Finance, and Lilian Rocca, Superintendent of the Peruvian Stock Market.

The road show will continue later in the day at the New York Palace Hotel where key government officials and leading corporate executives from diverse industries will meet to discuss investment highlights, economic growth, business environment and investment opportunities in Peru.

inPeru's road show events were established in 2012 to promote Peru as one of the most important centers of the region to attract international investment.

Through these road shows, Peruvian government officials and business executives have visited many of the most important economic plazas of the world, including Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, London, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Dubai and Frankfurt.

inPeru is a not-for-profit Peruvian organization dedicated to promoting foreign investment and the development of opportunities in Peru, as well as in its financial and capital markets.
