Peru's export and tourism promotion board Promperu and 25 Peruvian agro export enterprises have confirmed their attendance at Asia Fruit Logistica 2014, to be held from September 3-5 in Hong Kong, China.
Peru's participation at the three-day event aims to promote the Andean country's exportable offer in the Asian market. It is also an important opportunity to consolidate the nation's position as one of the strategic suppliers of fruit and vegetables to the world.
Asia Fruit Logistica, Asia's leading trade show for the international fresh fruit and vegetable business, is expected to be attended by 7,000 industry professionals.
In addition, more than 460 exhibitors from 38 different countries will be showcasing their products and services at the trade fair.
The event attracted more than 6,500 top decision-makers from 64 countries to Hong Kong last year. Exhibitor numbers increased by almost 10 percent to 372 companies, while the number of countries represented rose by 23 percent to 37 nations, making the event more international than ever.
