Businesses from Andean nations of Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru will be convened at the Forth Andean Business Meeting to be held April 29-30 in Santa Cruz, Bolivia in order to showcase the sub-regional bloc’s exportable supply.

The event will see the participation of around 600 businessmen, 360 exporters and 220 importers, as well as small and medium-sized companies from the four countries of the Andean Community of Nations (CAN) and the guest country, Spain.

Over 4,200 business meetings are due to take place among participating countries. Gatherings are expected to achieve sales commitments for US$100 million.

Supported by Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) for the second year, the 2015 edition will attract about 217 buyers, 13 of which will be from Spain.

The event will involve various business sectors such as agro-industry and fisheries, textiles and apparel, jewelry, metalworking, construction materials, plastics, wooden furniture, footwear and leather manufacturing, pharmaceutical products, flowers and services, among others.

The business round table is organized by the CAN General Secretariat and the four countries’ export promotion agencies: Promueve Bolivia, ProColombia, ProEcuador and Peru's Export and Tourism Promotion Board (Promperu).
