The "Superfoods Peru" brand will enter the competitive U.S. market through Summer Fancy Food Show —a major specialty food industry trade event in North America, scheduled for June 25-27 in New York.
The delegation is composed of 24 exporters, who come together to display the varied Peruvian supply of functional, healthy foods harmonized with international standards.
Peruvian products will be showcased to 25,000 buyers and over 2,650 exhibitors from across the globe.
Exhibitions are grouped under the same brand, "Superfoods Peru," which is widely marketed with reliable top quality products.
Superfoods introduced include
quinoa, frozen fruits, cacao derivatives, dehydrated aguaymanto and sacha inchi oil.
The Peruvian participation in the show is expected to surpass the US$60 million worth of deals pumped into the country.
In addition to trade exhibitions, attendees can enjoy tasting and culinary demonstrations.
