Peruvian athlete Diego Elias won the silver medal in the Squash's Men Singles category at the Pan American Games 2015 currently underway.
The Peruvian lost the last game to Colombia's Miguel A. Rodriguez by a (1-3) score (9-11; 11-3; 10-12; 8-11).
It must be noted the national had previously managed to beat Chile's Pinto Jaime (3-0); U.S. Gordon Christopher (3-0) in the quarterfinals. Likewise, he defeated Mexico's Cesar Salazar who, in the semifinals, retired from the game (3-RET).
Although Elias could not beat the Colombian, he displayed extraordinary performances during the tournament, which granted him the silver medal.
