Peru's President: Fight against organized crime to be strengthened in Ancash

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Tuesday indicated that the Interior Ministry has taken actions which will strengthen the fight against organized crime in Ancash region.

Remarks were made during a meeting with groups representing youth from the aforementioned jurisdiction.

The gathering saw the participation of the following groups: Ningun Joven Menos and Pueblos en Acción from Santa province. Both of them represent youth and citizens from the above-mentioned region.

During this event, measures were also adopted to make projects viable that will provide water and sanitation services to Chimbote and Nuevo Chimbote districts.

This event took place at the Government Palace in the Peruvian capital, Lima.
